Friends, family, health #MFRWauthor

There are only two weeks after this one and the official topic is "things I'm grateful for."

As you move through the years, the things you are grateful for change. A child is grateful for the warmth and friendship of the puppy lying next to him. In the teen years, whoever is your BFF at the moment, is the choice. Later, a spouse or children, or a career you love top the list.

When you reach the twilight years, health or another day on earth are added to the things you've been grateful to have over the years.

Since the year is almost over, a wish for my readers. Whatever you are grateful for, whether health or wealth, family or friends, may you have it in abundance.

There's just a few more posts in the challenge. Hope I make it.
~till next time, Helen

  1. I haven't thought about it, but you're right. What we're grateful for does change with time.

    1. I probably thought of it from being a caregiver, awaiting multiple gather the clan phone calls, and having four generations for this Christmas.

  2. Words of wisdom there in the acknowledgement that gratitude changes and grows with age.
