In one of my misspent lives, I wrote a variety of non-fiction including feature stories and event coverage. After writing about military history, antiques and archaeology, a logical connection is a museum. And I have to admit, I worked as the director of a local history museum, the Burrowes Mansion Museum.
What came out of a love of the past, besides fantasy worlds, were three non-fiction books.
Of Town and Field covers the history of the Monmouth County, New Jersey towns of Matawan Borough and Aberdeen Township from pre-history times and the first settlers through to the new millennium. The book concludes with how the residents pulled together after their losses of September 11th, 2001.

From the Back Street to Main Street chronicles the Society of Methodists of Middletown Point from its early beginnings with circuit rider preachers to the current congregation of the 21st century as the Matawan United Methodist Church in Aberdeen.
