The “Crazy Eights” have been best friends for thirty years, but they rarely get together. The remedy? An audacious dare contrived to bring them together for weddings—their weddings. Each participant must marry within twelve months or complete a personally mortifying task.

Meet Sofia, beautiful and brilliant, longing for a family. Starting over after a divorce, Sofia is focused on her career, not some foolhardy dare. She’s set her sights on a new job, a new home and reluctantly accepting her single, childless status. Independent and determined, she can’t foresee she will both win and lose her heart’s desire in the next six months.

Jeremy Klein, genius engineer and inventor, is also making big life changes. He’s sold his startup to become a billionaire CEO overnight. Unfortunately, his ego hasn’t caught up yet, and despite family pressures and turning forty, he is gun-shy about returning to the dating game.

Then Jeremy meets Sofia. They bond over shared business interests and a chemistry that sizzles. Their attraction is immediate and so electrifying that a one-night stand quickly morphs into planning a future.

But plans can change. Accusations threaten to derail their relationship, Sofia’s career and Jeremy’s position. Spies, lies and misunderstandings abound until those “Crazy Eights” step in, scheming and manipulating to secure Sofia her happily ever after.

The stakes are high. Win the bet and lose your heart; or lose the bet along with your dignity. When the wager is nothing short of true love, are Jeremy and Sofia crazy to believe?

In the tradition of The Beguiling Bachelor Series, Madison Michael creates a romance series about independent and sassy women, sexy and successful men, love, passion, and lasting friendships. Infused with a bit of suspense and plenty of humor, Crazy to Believe is a complex romance you’ll be reading all night.

Behind the Scene:

The Crazy Eights, who are the stars of the All’s Crazy in Love Romances, pay homage to women I have been friends with for more than thirty years. These are the women who were at my wedding, the women who threw me a divorce shower and were there when I woke up after surgery. We have celebrated successes together and mourned our losses crying on one another’s shoulders. They are like sisters to me, and I love them with my whole heart. But none of them live near by.

When I missed them so much I ached with it, I decided to pull some of my favorite quirks about each of them into my characters, and the Crazies were born. Now when I miss my friends, I can write a scene reminiscent of a conversation we had, a vacation we shared, and especially a laugh.

They meddle, they give advice I never requested, they snark behind each other’s backs…in other words, they are the perfect friends, and the perfect, complex, relatable characters. You’ll wish they were your friends too, and they will be by the time you complete the 8-book series.

As a special gift, Madison had made Crazy to Wed, the prequel to the

Tuesday Title: Not Broken by Meka James

They say love can heal all wounds... are there some too deep?

Title:  Not Broken: The Happily Ever After
Author:  Meka James

Date of Release:  11/23/2017
Genre:  Contemporary Romance

They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger...

Calida Jokobi doesn’t see it that way. Surviving an abusive relationship with a sadistic, manipulative man changed her. She has spent the last two years carefully constructing her new persona with two goals in mind: to keep the remaining pieces of her heart safe and her deepest secrets buried. One man puts it all at risk.

Malcolm has been a part of Calida’s life for as long as she can remember. A friend. Her first teenage crush. Now he's asking for something she swore she'd never give again: her heart.

Calida must decide if she should risk the fragile façade she’s created and give Malcolm the chance he’s asking for.

They say love can heal all wounds…

Malcolm Frankel wants to prove to Calida it’s true. She survived a hell most people couldn’t fathom. He’s been by her side fulfilling whatever role she needs him to play. All except the one he wants most. It took nearly losing her to make Malcolm realize he couldn’t keep denying his feelings.

He knows no one goes through an ordeal like that and comes out unscathed, but the closer they get, the more he learns just how deep Calida’s wounds go.

She’s the only woman he’s ever loved, and Malcolm is ready to put his own heart at risk for a chance at mending hers.

Behind the Scenes:

Not Broken is the follow to my debut novel, Fiendish: A Twisted Fairytale. At the end of that book, Calida's story didn't feel complete to me. She went through a lot and she deserved to find her happy ending.

Not Broken has been written in a way that allows it to be a standalone. I did that because Fiendish was darker in nature so it's not a book that appeals to everyone, and I wanted new readers to be able to enjoy Not Broken without feeling forced to read Fiendish.

Author Bio:

I'm a Southern gal. A born and raised Georgia Peach as it were. Most people find it somewhat amazing that I'm actually from Georgia. Not sure why, a lot of people live in the state they were born. I'm happily married to a man that is probably my polar opposite, but we work. We work well enough to have four kids. One girl, whom I affectionately call The Girl and 3 boys. The Boy a.k.a Man Child these days (they got their names before the younger two came along), Curly Top, a.k.a Thing 1, and Munchkin a.k.a Thing 2. No they are not twins, but close in age.

We are a family of animal lovers. We have three dogs. Pixie, a Weimaraner, Loki, a Weim/Pit mix, and Thor, a German Shepherd. All from rescues because that's how we roll. We also have a pet turtle named Leo, and The Hubs and kids have a snake (I take no ownership of that).

She was the only girl to turn him down. What will happen when business and a wedding bring them together again.

Jules Grayson was a player as a teen and that hasn’t changed. Business and a friend’s wedding join to bring him to the place where his life had imploded and where his trust issues began. A Ponzi scheme and a suicide forced him into a group home he hated. For ten years he has avoided returning.

Grace Sutton is faced with a dilemma added to by the appearance of Jules in her Sweet and Spicy Cupcake bakery. Years ago she turned Jules down but she had a crush. His appearance erodes the vow she made years ago. Men had used her mother and led the woman into drugs and alcohol. Grace vowed to forego relationships with men until she could support herself. Though the bakery is making money, she doesn’t feel secure. When Jules arrives with a contract for a magazine feature, she is conflicted and attracted.

Behind the Scenes:

As to the inspiration the hero was a silent participant is several of the other stories and he wanted a story. He was a player and I thought "what about the only girl to turn him down." She had appeared in the fifth story with a bit of her backstory.

Author Bio:

Janet Lane Walters is experience her 48th year of being a published author. She doesn't mention the ten years she returned to work as a nurse to help children through college. She began with short stories and poetry then advanced to novels when an editor remarked her short story sounded like the synopsis for a novel. She was published by NY publishers but in 1998 discovered electronic publishing and has continued there. She calls herself an "eclectic writer" since she writes a number of genres or sub-genres. Cozy mysteries, suspense, contemporary romance, historical, fantasy for YA and adults, paranormal romances featuring alternate worlds or reincarnation. Having A Voice

Today's note is not about writing, at least not in the traditional 'how to.' An old saying is that there are two sides to a coin. In writing, there are two sides also. The Creator and the Reader. Today's post is about the reader--and their voice. Often there are few avenues by which a reader can speak their mind, give their opinion. The most common is with their wallet. If a reader doesn't like a book, they speak with their money and don't buy another. Maybe they will write a scathing review on their favorite site. But both of those methods come after the work is created.

If as a reader you would like to have a voice (and not crack open the dust-covered pouch of coins. Yes I write fantasy and we pay in coppers and coins, but I guess I should have said, not add to the bill on the plastic card).

There is a survey up until the end of September. The one who is offering the opportunity is Lily Bishop, Author of No Strings Attached.

Although the survey is short, a mere handful of questions, it is your chance to tell what kind of romance novel you prefer and give insight before they are created.

Time was running out for Cole Rivers. He may not have been born in the United States, but Texas was the only place he'd ever called home. He had just weeks to find the proof he needed, or risk being deported. All he needed was a little help from the daughter of the local doctor who'd treated him years ago. He didn't count on Dr. RaeAnne Daniels being so difficult to work with. But despite his own troubles, and the distraction this beautiful woman became with each passing day, how could he leave her in her time of need?

RaeAnne Daniels never knew why it was so important for her father had set up his medical practice on the border of Mexico instead of working in a thriving Texas city like the one she practiced in. But when her father died and left RaeAnne in charge of cleaning up his office, she found it hard to leave the border town and people she'd always resented growing up. Cole Rivers had been her father's patient and he had problems of his own. The break-ins at her father's clinic and the drugs being stolen were her problem. But that didn't stop her from falling for the devastatingly handsome cowboy with a heart of gold...or stop him from showing her how wonderful true love could really be.
